Job Description

With over 65,000 employees spanning an office-network of over 500 offices globally, and annual revenues in excess of $15billion, our Client is a Recognised Business Services organisation who’s European Headquarters is situated on the Bank of the Thames in Central London, UK.

Due to aggressive growth through business Mergers & Acquisitions, Our Client is looking to expand their onsite technical services function which provides dedicated deskside support to some of their business’s key stakeholders, VIP’s and end-users based from their EU Head Office in Central London, UK. This position is to be working standard business hours with occasional requirements for travel and out of hours support.

The successful candidate will be dealing with support issues escalated from their shared-service IT Service Desk, along with providing BAU systems administration and supporting the business on project-based requirements encompassing:
  • Performs installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software
  • Assists in the setup and operation of audio-visual hardware as required by end user
  • Determine appropriate hardware and software based on corporate policy and end user requirements
  • Respond to incidents within SLA or within a timely manner with appropriate level of urgency, and follows up with customers on all issues
  • Disconnects, moves and reconnects desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user and office moves
  • Roll-out, deploy and upgrade Desktop Devices using imaging tools such as SCCM
  • Assist in administration and maintenance of technology infrastructure components
  • May assist in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of office telephony system
  • Uses corporate incident management system to record and track all support work
  • Maintains accurate hardware and software records for corporate assets
Candidates will ideally:
  • Degree educated in a related IT discipline
  • Possess two years’ commercial experience providing IT support at Deskside
  • Hold formal Microsoft certifications (i.e. MSCDT, MCP, MCSE)
  • Good around technical knowledge of Operating Systems, Software, Hardware and Networks
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
Tenure:                 3-month initial contract
Rate:                      £180 - £210.00 per day (Limited/Umbrella)
