Job Description

Human Capital Ventures is acting as a prefer supplier to a household name about to embark on large scale digital transformation project to revolutionise the way it markets itself and transacts business.
Reporting to director and board level management, you will be responsible for championing the digital transformation across a business consisting of over 45,000 employees, implementing required technology and best practice.

  • Liaise directly with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendor teams to maximise synergies and cost effectiveness
  • Managed internal client and stakeholder relationships including purchasing requests, transfers and software licensing ensuring strict approval processes are in line with Infrastructure policies
  • Drive the digital transformation programme to build the required infrastructure
  • Set objectives and strategies for the IT department & Digital Teams
  • Lead the digital "hub" of central technology resources/knowledge bases
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimise their strategic benefits
  • Design and customise technological systems and platforms to improve supporter experience
  • Approve purchases and procurement of hardware and software and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, as well as liaising with prospective vendors
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organisation to ensure optimal performance 
  • Coordinate IT change & transformation projects (deployments/migrations/rollouts)
  • Keep abreast with changes or advancements in technology to discover potential alternatives
  • Oversee Data Governance of the organisation
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Proven experience in leading "digital" teams, developing digital capabilities and organisational transformation
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital or technical discipline either in a digitally centric business or consultancy or significant organisation
Whilst leading a multibillion pound turnover organisation through a large-scale digital transformation, you will be interfacing with a variety of key stakeholders on a daily basis, developing your Leadership career within a Globally Recognised organisation.

Tenure:                Permanent, Full-Time (Monday – Friday 36.5hours)
Salary:                 £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
